Description
Known to grow only the Tingo Maria in Peru, Anthurium reflexinervium is very difficult to find. I know I’ve said it before, but this really is one of the really great anthuriums. Imagine exaggerated Veitchii-like rippled leaves, only growing in a birdsnest form. The leaves are so stiff, they do not bend, and if you forced it, it would crack rather than flex. In its native habitat A. reflexinervium grows on rocky slopes, directly on the rocks as a lithophyte. We have found it prefers to grow in a bit more light than most of our other anthuriums. This fantastic aroid refuses to be confused with anything else in the collection and stands out way above the rest.
