Previously known as A. guildingii.
This is an enormous growing Anthurium. The leaves have a leathery texture, but are as thin as tissue paper. A. balaoanum will climb a totem or tree in tropical areas. A few years ago we sold one to a customer and then were later invited over to see their collection. Imagine my surprise to see this beautiful anthurium actually 10 ft off the ground in a tree! Plants available have leaves about 8-9″ long
